The Frame Side Table consists of thirteen wooden frames evenly spaced out to create a perfect cube with a wide cavity through the centre for a second surface top.

Supports have it raised slightly off the ground to give it a floating effect whilst the partitions between the frames give the right amount of space for items to be placed on without fear of falling through.
Exploring the intrigue created from not only the solid form of a design but also the negative space that it defines. The openness of the structure allows light to pass through in unique ways, creating everchanging visuals in any rooms it's within.
In contemporary design, too often are forms bulky and solid. Through the use of open space and gaps comes a feeling of lightness- integrating into spaces rather than dominating them.
Depending on the rotation, the gaps show a glimpse into what's stored within without fully revealing its contents, providing a contrast between the freeness of open space and the solidity of structure.
