PAD
Clean lines, simple curves. The Pad bench combines functionality with modern design, incorporating steel poles as supports to give it an industrial, yet minimal look.
The bench is easily assembled through the use of rods to hold the main steel supports to the sides, while the seats simply rest neatly upon the poles and the cushion sits on top of the seat.

Brief + Concept
Create an indoor furniture sitting piece that is multi purpose- designed to be used and to not look out of place in different rooms and scenarios.
Every room needs a seat of some kind, but not in every case is a chair or sofa applicable.
The idea: a stool with a cushioned seat for when necessary, space for personal belongings/ storage and a shoe rack underneath for applications at the entry way of the premises
Sketching and testing size and shape in Fusion 360 led me closer to the final design. Key details I found necessary to include beams or poles for structural reasons and to reduce material usage, detachable features for better transportability along with no permanent fixings.
